Thanks for a good analysis of the power problem. This may be off the wall, but I have another issue to ask you about. I need help getting up and running in programming on a MACBOOK M1. I wrote a video game (Little Brickout) in Pascal on an Apple II 40 years ago, but have just been a computer user since. The program (hobby) I want to write, inputs stereo music, processes it, and outputs video. Very simple. I don't know what language to use or how to set up the folder structure for program development. Can you help? If not, its okay, but I thought I would ask.
