I really don't know the correct answer to this problem. I agree that my early education was not ideal. But, my dad was a teacher, my teacher in 6th,7th, and 8th grade. That was tough, but I came out of it with the determination that I would go to college. It was my persistence that made me succeed. I don't know where that came from, but I loved science. So I pursued it through many failures. Thanks for pointing out the problems, but I don't know of anyone with the answer. The most important thing is to encourage the desire to learn.
