Part of the problem is that we do not sufficiently separate the mathematical symbols from the non-physical reality (without energy) behind the symbols. This non-physical reality is totally logically consistent, and correct mathematical expressions are also logically consistent. The reason we are having problems with this question is because our thinking is clouded by this confusion. I am working on an explanation of this, but it is not ready for prime time yet.
