The tethered artificial gravity you describe is brilliant. It looks very feasible to me, but I am only a chip designer, and I might not see the defects. Also, calling it the Konecny Space Station could make you famous when we start using to idea. I like the idea of less than full earth gravity. It makes it more feasible and still solves most of the zero gravity problems. It also is a great idea to use Phobos as a space station for interplanetary exploration in addition to the gravity of the tethered station. In my opinion, it is the best idea for space travel since Elon Musk's star ship belly flop.
